A day in the life of a tourist

Day 66: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Well, after much resistance, today we went sightseeing like every other tourist. Admittedly, we did see some awesome stuff but it´s just not very exciting or very personal to be knocked and jostled around by 50 other tourists snapping pictures and posing and being generally inconsiderate about their fellow sightseers. Whale´s Tail

Day 42: Uvita, Costa Rica

An hour and a half or so from the hostel to the very end of the beach and we arrived at the Whale´s Tail. Although it´s difficult to make out while you´re standing on the Tail, from the sky you can see how this part of the beach got it´s name.

Day 17: Panajchel, Guatemala

Very sad to leave Antigua this morning. We can’t wait to come back! Took a 7AM shuttle bus to Panajchel to check out Lake Atilan.
