Hello kayaking time!
March 12, 2010 – Day 442 – Ha Long Bay to Hanoi, Vietnam
Bang, bang bang! “Hello! Get up!” Bang, bang! “Hello! Kayaking!”
And that was at 6:30am. We had not even had breakfast yet and were just waking up when we heard the call for hello kayaking. Shaking the sleep from our bones we dropped into our 2 person kayak and paddled around the bay.

We went between several of the rocky islands hoping to find a cave or tunnel, or just something to paddle our boat through. As early as it was it was still foggy and misty looking across the green water. Despite all the boats there was still a pervading blanket of silence out there on the water.

After the early morning kayaking, the rest of the day was spent getting back to Ha Long City and then on to Hanoi. It was around 5:30pm by the time we got to Hanoi and we decided to spend the night instead of taking the night bus on to Hue.
