Great idea Brian, we will do a little work on our packing list to notate the downsize.

Being in SEA has been the main factor in reducing our pack size. Obviously we no longer need the warm clothes or shoes so that alone reduced a huge amount of our pack weight. Even though we are technically at a 35 Lt (Saben) and a 24 Lt (Lindsey) pack size, neither one of our packs are close to full. We tested out our gear and EVERYTHING we have can fit in Saben's pack we simple spread the burden a little and have plenty of room for souvenirs along the way!

Thanks!

I wrote you an email a couple of weeks ago thanking you for your detailed packing lists (my boyfriend and I also bought each an Atmos 35 for our rtw, which still seams small to me). And now you are even downgrading to a 24L! I must admit I am deeply impressed and a little bit jealous...now I have a new goal ahead of me :-)
Love your blog by the way!
Happy travels, L

The best thing you said was that you went DOWN to a 24L bag. So many folks are running around with 70L bags and wonder why it takes so long to pack or why they are so tired.

Would be great to see a post on what you're carrying now in the 24L vs. what you started with in the 35L.
