Happy Groundhog´s Day!
Day 38: San Jose, Costa Rica
It´s Groundhog´s Day, woohoo! So apparently the groundhog predicts more bad winter weather for those folks in winter-weather areas but today marked some seriously good news for us: The formerly irritated old woman at the embassy gave us a nod instead of a head shake!
Seems like every time we go to the embassy, she gets a little nicer. We got our visa applications in and she wil have them for us tomorrow afternoon!! What a relief!
Still, today was a boring day for posting. We took the day off from working at the hostel and tried to do some shopping in another area for some Saben shirts. After having let one run away from him in Guatemala, he is down to 2 and he stinks because he doesn´t wash them very often. Besides that, we did some self-guided sightseeing across the city as we wandered through the streets trying to see what there was to see.
